Booking terms

50 % of rental cost is required upon reservation. The balance of the rental is payable 30 & nbsp; & nbsp; days preceding the start date of the stay. < / p>

When the reservation is made less than 30 & nbsp; days before the start date of the stay, full payment is required.

A refundable security deposit of $ 500 is required and payable 24 hours prior to the start date of the stay. Rental cancellation policy, modification and special conditions

All cancellations must be made by written notice to the Landlord by email at.

In the event of cancellation, a fee of $ 125 will be retained from the initial deposit.

If the cancellation notice is received more than 45 days before the start date of the stay, the 50% deposit will be returned to the tenant less the $ 125 fee.

If the cancellation is made less than 45 days prior to the start of the stay, the initial 50% deposit will be retained by the Landlord, the rest of the rental fees as well as the security deposit will be returned to the Tenant.

If the cancellation is made 30 days before the start date of the stay, the Tenant will be required to pay the full amount of the rental, except the security deposit for breakage and damage which will be returned to him.

In the event that the BBQ, Spa or Sauna break during your stay, no refund will be made.

The date of the reservation may be changed, free of charge, by the tenant, at the no later than 30 days before the start of the stay. After this period, the request may be accepted under certain conditions.

The addition of occupants may be made up to 48 hours before the start of the rental, by written notice to the Landlord.

Renting for a single night will be at the rate of two nights.

The Tenant may, under certain conditions, extend his stay either by arriving earlier on the day of his arrival (from 5:00 p.m.) or by leaving later on the day of departure (until 11:00 a.m.). The Tenant must make the request, in writing, within 48 hours before the start of the stay. The rate for early arrival or late departure is $ 80.

When the Landlord has inspected the premises and carried out an inventory of the goods, the security deposit will be returned to the Tenant by Interac transfer. IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGE, THE COSTS EXCEEDING THE VALUE OF YOUR DEPOSIT must be paid by Interac transfer the day following your departure, otherwise procedures will be undertaken for non-compliance with this commitment.

Reservations are not allowed to persons under 25 years old.

For safety and insurance purposes, the number of persons, including children over 3 years old, who SLEEP in the rental property, must not exceed the actual occupancy capacity of your chalet. Failure to comply with this condition will terminate this agreement and result in charges being deducted from your security deposit.

Rental of the chalet and use of facilities / equipment (use of Internet, electrical appliances, spa, sauna, Nordic bath, barbecue, gas oven, etc.) are entirely at the risk of the customer. We are not responsible for any problems encountered while using the spa. Non-normal use may incur a charge of $ 115 for additional cleaning. Les Chalets JAYM will not be held responsible for any event causing death, injury, loss of personal belongings, or for any damage affecting the personal property of the tenant and his guests. In the event of an unforeseen situation (power failure, Internet interruption, lack of water, sewer problem, telephone interruption), no refund will be granted. Please note that some of our cabins do not have generators.

Pets are allowed under the discretion of Chalets JAYM and with an additional charge of $ 30 per night. If you wish to bring your pet, you must notify the landlord to obtain their approval.

Building regulations: use of leased premises and tenant responsibilities

Please note that this is a non-smoking property. Failure to comply with this regulation could result in a fine of up to $ 750, under law # 0.01. Our inspection team will check the condition of the house after you leave. Any damage caused by the use of tobacco inside the property will be at the expense of the tenant. The Tenant is responsible for material damage occurring in or on the rented building during the rental period, and this, for any reason whatsoever, except damage resulting from construction defects, lack of maintenance, natural and technological disasters, and any damage normally covered by the Lessor’s home insurance policy. The Tenant agrees to keep the Landlord clear and safe from any claim presented by anyone resulting from the damage for which he is responsible.

The Tenant is held responsible for the actions of any other person on the premises. the rented places.

Our chalets are privately owned and each and every one of them expects guests to ensure their property is clean and in pristine condition throughout their stay. In order to keep these floors in perfect condition, tenants are requested to remove their shoes (shoes, boots, sandals, etc.) upon entering. In most houses, the entrances have a ceramic section. Please put your shoes there. Any deterioration of the floor resulting from non-compliance with this condition will be billed to the tenant. The house will be inspected after your departure and, if its condition is deemed unsatisfactory, charges may be deducted from your security deposit. The Tenant agrees to respect the rented premises and to return them to the same condition as on arrival. The furniture and objects at the disposal of the Tenant must be treated with care and used only for the use for which they are intended.

The Tenant undertakes to use only the leased premises and to respect the spaces of neighbors and residents of the area.

The Tenant is responsible for any damaged furniture or object, for any damage caused to the leased premises, including the land and outdoor equipment.

The Tenant agrees to respect reasonable rules of conduct and not to disturb neighbors and residents of the area. The Tenant must keep to a reasonable noise level, both inside and outside the unit. Defects or breakage observed by the Tenant during the rental period must be reported immediately.

The number of people authorized per accommodation unit indicated in this contract may not be exceeded, in any weather.

Use of the spa and sauna are subject to certain conditions. It is forbidden to drink anything other than water or to eat in the spa and sauna. In the event of non-compliance with these conditions, or for excessive use or non-compliance with the cleanliness thereof, an amount of up to $ 250 will be retained from the security deposit.

For safety reasons and for the protection of citizens, the municipal law of the city of Sainte-Béatrix prohibits the making of fireworks, the use of firecrackers or the making of outdoor fires without a permit. Failure to comply with this rule could result in an additional charge of $ 250.

Important conditions

The Tenant agrees to respect the regulations of the establishment at all times. This commitment also applies to people accompanying the Tenant and his guests.

The establishment can only be rented for vacationing purposes.

The establishment can accommodate a maximum of 10 people.

The Tenant may not assign his rights under the rental contract or sublet the building.

If on the day of departure, the Tenant does not leave the premises at the time mentioned (provided for in the contract), additional charges of 80 $ may apply.

General provisions

This short-term rental agreement can only be amended in writing.

If any of the terms of this agreement, whatever it may be, should be held to be null and void and unenforceable, the validity of its other conditions would not be affected. In the event of a null and non-enforceable provision, the parties must reach an agreement which comes closest to the economic objectives sought by the parties in this contract.

This document must be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws in force in the Province of Quebec and Canada.

Other provisions

The Landlord ensures that the rented establishment holds a classification certificate issued by the Corporation of the tourism industry of Quebec in accordance with the Act respecting tourist accommodation establishments and still in force.

The Landlord cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury or illness resulting from the fault of the Tenant, which may occur to the Tenant or his guests during the stay. By accepting this reservation, the Tenant and his guests accept the risks associated with their stay at the establishment.

The Landlord cannot be held responsible for the theft or loss of the Tenant’s property or its guests during the stay.
